He joined Pan American Silver Corp in March 2007, and has been leading the mine expansion and mill construction project at Pan American San Vicente Project in Bolivia, as well as assisting in other project work with Pan American Silver. George's experience and project team's efforts will be instrumental in completing the construction project at San Vicente by the end of 2008 such that the production ramp-up from this high-grade silver mine will commence in early 2009.
